Working with the gorgeous and enthusiastic Lara Scolari, this was a complete renovation of a timber 3 level terrace in Balmain. Previously converted to 3 flats, the brief was to restore it to a family home with street front gallery. Walls were moved, floor boards replaced, second hand doors were sourced and Lara & I had lots of fun shopping for lighting & furniture to bring this back to a beautiful home and gallery. The project is still under way with an extension and new kitchen to come.
As if we were not busy enough with the fit-out Lara decided she needed to launch the gallery with an opening for 200 people, so with a bit of event management – invitation were sent, furniture was moved and champagne opened.
